Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Nurse to join our Elective Surgical Ward at our Shrewsbury Hospital. As a key member of our team, you'll drive the standard in patient care and work closely with our consultant-led ward to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care, working closely with our consultant-led ward to deliver exceptional outcomes.
- Be flexible, motivated, and an excellent communicator, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Work directly with some of the best clinical talent in the industry, gaining valuable experience of new practices, equipment, and facilities.
- Collaborate with practitioners across other departments to ensure continuity in patient care.
- Contribute to the development of our team, sharing your expertise and knowledge to drive excellence in patient care.
About the Role
This is a fixed-term contract, providing 12 months of maternity cover. You'll work 30 hours per week, with opportunities for weekend and night enhancements. Our Golden Hello bonus is available to successful candidates, subject to terms and conditions.
Person Specification
We're looking for a registered nurse with relevant qualifications and experience, including NMC registration. You'll have previous and post-registration experience, with a strong focus on patient care and teamwork.
