Position Overview:
Lead Financial Administrator

Location:
Central Region

Compensation:
Up to £35,000 annually

Benefits: 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, 6% employer pension contribution, and the option to work remotely one day per week after a designated notice period.


Are you a seasoned finance expert seeking a fresh challenge? We are looking for a Lead Financial Administrator to become a vital part of our innovative team.

This position is ideal for individuals who excel in a dynamic setting and possess a strong enthusiasm for finance and administrative tasks.

Core Responsibilities:

Bank Reconciliation:
Execute daily reconciliations across various bank accounts.

Accounts Payable Management:

Handle invoice processing and cash transactions, oversee spending, authorize expenses, reconcile vendor accounts, initiate payments, distribute remittance notifications, resolve inquiries, manage creditors, and project cash flow.


Accounts Receivable Management:
Generate and dispatch approximately 80 monthly invoices, including managing cross payments and recharges. Ensure prompt collection of dues and apply surcharges when necessary.

Cash Management:
Oversee and reconcile the cash account.

VAT Reporting:
Compile monthly Input VAT reports and guarantee precise journal entries.

Budget Assistance:
Supply current financial data to aid in the formulation of the annual budget.

Journal Management:
Process monthly journals and prepayments, keeping records of all prepaid expenses.

Financial Reporting:
Create monthly Profit and Loss statements with budget comparisons.

Account Reconciliation:
Reconcile all nominal ledger accounts.

Balance Sheet Preparation:
Prepare monthly balance sheets.

Qualifications and Skills:
Demonstrated experience in a senior finance administration capacity.
In-depth understanding of financial protocols and regulations.
AAT/ACCA/CIMA qualifications (highly preferred).
Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, especially Excel.
Meticulous attention to detail and precision in financial reporting.
Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
