Field Service Mechanical Engineer Benefits:

Working hours: 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday (with early finishes on Fridays)

Field Service Mechanical Engineer Responsibilities:
1. Assemble machinery according to customer specifications.
2. Construct assemblies following detailed drawings and parts lists.
3. Create snag lists for machines under assembly, noting shortages, outstanding work, and any issues encountered.

4. Conduct quality inspections of builds, ensuring appearance and fit meet standards, and report any issues to the team leader.

5. Test completed machines and assemblies, utilizing inspection checklists for final commissioning.

6. Perform any other reasonable tasks as requested by the department.


Field Service Mechanical Engineer Requirements:

1. Extensive experience in mechanical engineering and fitting, particularly in precision assembly of critical components.
2. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
3. Strong problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills in pneumatic systems.
4. Proven experience in fitting, assembly, and testing, with essential pneumatic expertise.
5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
6. Experience in a similar role focusing on pneumatic systems.
7. Strong commitment to health and safety protocols.
8. Time-served or apprentice-trained.
9. FLT License is preferred but not mandatory.
