Position Overview

As the Global Head of Marketing Operations at LHH (Global), you will be responsible for steering the planning, execution, and enhancement of marketing strategies and processes across various international markets. This role demands a strategic visionary with outstanding operational acumen, a profound grasp of marketing technologies, and the capability to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in marketing initiatives.

Reporting Structure:

  • Reports directly to the Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Work Environment:

  • Remote position available in the US or UK

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Operational Leadership
    • Formulate and execute a comprehensive global marketing operations strategy that aligns with the overarching business goals.
    • Oversee the framework for executing all marketing activities, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality outcomes.
    • Drive ongoing enhancements of marketing processes, tools, and systems to boost efficiency and performance.
    • Establish and implement a training and development program for the marketing team to ensure skill enhancement.
  2. Team Development and Management
    • Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing global marketing operations team, cultivating a culture of excellence and collaboration.
    • Set clear performance targets and regularly assess team progress, providing constructive feedback and growth opportunities.
    • Ensure alignment and coordination among regional marketing teams to maintain consistency in global marketing efforts.
  3. Technology and Systems Management
    • Assess, implement, and oversee marketing technologies and platforms to support marketing initiatives.
    • Ensure seamless integration and utilization of marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
    • Stay informed about emerging marketing technologies and trends, recommending and implementing new tools as necessary.
  4. Data Analysis and Insights
    • Collaborate with Sales Operations to develop and manage a robust analytics framework to measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to optimize marketing performance and support strategic decision-making.
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all marketing systems and platforms.
  5. Financial Oversight
    • Develop and manage the global marketing operations budget, ensuring effective resource allocation.
    • Monitor and report on budget performance, making adjustments as necessary to meet financial objectives.
    • Identify opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies.
  6. Cross-Departmental Collaboration
    • Work closely with other departments, including Sales, Product, and IT, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
    • Act as a key liaison between the marketing team and other business units to drive integrated and cohesive strategies.
    • Facilitate communication and coordination across teams to ensure the successful execution of marketing plans.
    • Manage large-scale marketing programs effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, with a proven track record of leading global teams and driving operational excellence.
  • Deep understanding of marketing technologies, automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Experience managing budgets and resources effectively.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as required.
