Senior Cloud Operations Engineer - Financial Services - Azure, Terraform, CI/CD, Monitoring

Oliver Bernard is currently in search of a Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to become a vital part of a well-established team within a financial services organization. This role is essential during a transformative phase aimed at enhancing their global offerings and fostering a robust DevOps culture while promoting innovation and change.

With recent growth and acquisitions, the company seeks a Senior Engineer to bolster their DevOps team as they embark on several greenfield initiatives centered around Azure, Terraform, CI/CD, Monitoring, Automation, and more.

The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 4-5 years of experience in DevOps, preferably in a senior role, and should be proficient in the following technologies:

  • Expertise in Azure Cloud and its services
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, along with Automation using Ansible
  • Comprehensive knowledge of CI/CD practices, with practical experience in Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with tools such as TeamCity, Octopus Deploy, etc.
  • Experience in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, etc.)

This position requires on-site presence (office-based 4-5 days per week) and offers a competitive salary range of £90-120K for the right candidate.
