Role Overview

GSL Education is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Drama Graduate to join our team as a Teaching Assistant or Cover Supervisor in a vibrant school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging drama lessons, utilizing creative teaching methods to foster a love for the arts among students.
  • Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers, ensuring a productive and creative learning environment.
  • Provide targeted support to individual students or small groups to enhance their understanding of drama, utilizing effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of school productions and extracurricular activities, promoting a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Help maintain a safe and supportive classroom atmosphere, adhering to safeguarding and child protection policies.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Drama or a related subject, with a strong understanding of drama principles and practices.
