Electrical Engineer for Renewable Energy Hub Development

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team as an Energy Hub Development Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and implementation of High Voltage Electrical projects from renewable sources such as Wind, Solar PV, and Biomass.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Low Carbon Electricity generation and distribution projects.
- Deliver detailed project scope and Capex estimates for project justification and board approval.
- Support compliance and planning functions in obtaining permits and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and obtain detailed tenders from suppliers and prepare bid analyses.
- Implement, commission, and validate LCE projects to achieve commercial outcomes.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in managing HV electrical distribution projects, preferably on electricity generated from renewable sources. Additionally, they should have previously worked on delivering high-value capital projects in the utilities sector and have commercial awareness to optimize resource use within the team.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an organization driving the renewable energy revolution and contributing to a sustainable future. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing Low Carbon Electricity projects, working closely with the Engineering Projects Director and other stakeholders.
