Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and skilled Homecare Support Worker to join our team. As a Homecare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients in the comfort of their own homes, promoting their well-being and ensuring they have an excellent quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assist with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Administer medication as required
- Prepare and serve meals and snacks
- Assist with mobility and transfers
- Provide personal care, including toileting and incontinence care
- Support clients with their individual care plans
- Flexible shifts to fit around your schedule
- Minimum of 2 hour call length
- Competitive pay rates from £13.45 to £21.29 per hour, weekly pay
- Free training, including the Care Certificate
- Ongoing support and further development opportunities
- Annual pay increase
- Eligibility to apply for a Blue Light card, offering thousands of discounts online and on the high street
- Must be over 18 years old
- Have the right to work in the UK
- A Full UK Driving License is preferred, with full travel expenses covered up to 50p per mile
- A good standard of English and the ability to communicate effectively
- An enhanced DBS, which can be applied for upon registration (cost of £45.40, refunded after a set period of work)
