Senior VAT Manager, Insurance

Pro-Tax is seeking an experienced Senior VAT Manager to join our team in the insurance industry. As a key member of our indirect tax function, you will provide leadership and direction to our VAT team, ensuring compliance with UK VAT regulations and providing expert advice on VAT-related matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic guidance on VAT matters, including VAT compliance and advisory services
- Lead and manage a team of VAT professionals, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
- Develop and implement VAT strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including tax authorities and outsourced advisors
Requirements:
- Substantial VAT experience gained in the financial services industry
- Experience managing direct reports and leading teams
- Strong UK VAT compliance and advisory experience, with international exposure advantageous
- Solid communication and interpersonal skills
