Fixed Income Sales Trading & Fundraising Specialist Role - London

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting sales trades in the fixed income sector, emphasizing illiquid assets such as distressed debt and credit securities.
  • Building and nurturing robust relationships with institutional clients, professional investors, and high net worth individuals to enhance sales trading operations.
  • Spotting opportunities for fund capital raising and presenting investment strategies to potential clients.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to deliver advisory services on trading, settlement, and corporate restructuring within illiquid and distressed markets.
  • Offering market insights and analyses to clients, assisting them in making informed investment decisions and managing their portfolios.
  • Keeping updated on market trends, regulatory shifts, and industry advancements to improve client service and stimulate business growth.
Essential Skills:
  • Demonstrated experience in sales trading within the fixed income market, particularly with illiquid assets, ideally 3-5 years in finance.
  • Strong connections with institutional clients, professional investors, and high net worth individuals in the financial services sector.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities, capable of articulating complex investment concepts and strategies clearly.
  • Strategic thinking and business insight, with the capability to identify and leverage market opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements related to sales trading and fund capital raising activities.
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CFA, Series 7, Series 63) are preferred.
