Job Title: Director of Inclusive Learning and Support

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our team of learning support professionals and drive the growth and development of inclusive learning and support across our college.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead a specialist team of learning support professionals to deliver high-quality support and inclusion to students.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve student progress, achievement, retention, and personal development.
  • Collaborate with local authorities and other stakeholders to ensure effective learning support and inclusion.
  • Manage and monitor the budget for learning support and ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and guidelines for learning support, including assessments, exams, EHCPs, SEND, and classroom support.

Requirements:

  • Excellent leadership and management skills.
  • Proven experience in leading learning support teams and developing inclusive learning strategies.
  • Strong understanding of funding rules and conditions for learning support, including EHCPs.
  • Ability to manage budgets and ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
