Job Summary:This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and compassionate individual to make a real difference in the lives of our residents. As a Care Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced team to provide personalized care and support, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure that all care plans are followed to provide the level of support appropriate to each resident.
- Undertake personal care duties, including preparing light meals and fluids as required.
- Ensure the safe use of moving and handling equipment, including hoists, slings, and slide sheets.
- Oversee the health and safety of residents under your care.
- Undertake basic cleaning duties, following relevant cleaning rotas and safety procedures.
- A full and up-to-date CV.
- A minimum of 12 months of paid UK care experience working within a care or nursing home.
- An Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service.
- Mandatory training certificates relevant to the role, dated within the past 12 months.
- Two professional references covering a minimum of 2 years, including one from your most recent employer.
- Access to your transport or reliable commuting options to the location for the specified hours.
07:00 to 14:15 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Pay Rate:£11.44 per hour.
