Job Title: KS2 Intervention Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced KS2 Intervention Assistant to join our team at a primary school in Haringey, North London.

Job Summary:
  • £90-100 Per day (Inclusive of Holiday Pay) | Paid via PAYE on a weekly basis
  • KS2 Intervention Assistant commencing in September/October 2024 through to the end of the academic year in July 2025
  • Offering 1:1 support and assistance across Key Stage 2 as a KS2 Intervention Assistant
  • Experience with young children of primary school age is essential
  • Confident in supporting children with mixed abilities, including various SEN needs
Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support and assistance to students across Key Stage 2, working closely with the Class Teacher to ensure the best possible outcomes for all students.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing individualized support to students with varying abilities and SEN needs
  • Assisting the Class Teacher with lesson planning and delivery
  • Supporting students with homework and projects
  • Contributing to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in an education-related subject
  • Experience working with young children of primary school age
  • Confidence in supporting children with mixed abilities, including various SEN needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of organization and ability to remain calm under pressure
