Job Title: Licensed Technician B1

Company Overview

AirTanker is seeking a highly skilled Licensed Technician B1 to join our team in Base Maintenance. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft, working closely with the Shift Manager to meet customer contractual requirements.

The Role

  • Undertake maintenance activities, including scheduled and unscheduled aircraft maintenance, in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Certify all servicing and maintenance tasks, ensuring compliance with company quality and regulatory standards.
  • Supervise technical staff, ensuring they perform their duties safely and correctly, in accordance with relevant documentation.
  • Assume direct control of documentation for aircraft under your control, ensuring all required certification entries are promptly and correctly recorded.
  • Liaise with Maintrol to discuss technical issues and forthcoming scheduled inputs.
  • Ensure Health and Safety requirements are met and adhered to at all times.
  • Encourage open reporting and a just culture within the team.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Demonstrable experience on commercial or military aircraft.
  • Hold a valid B1 or B2 UK CAA Licence.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Pass a CP2 Colour Vision Test.
  • 1 or more Type Ratings (preferably AirBus) on EASA Licence, or Military Equivalent.
  • Experience working in a Base maintenance environment.
