We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Domestic Assistant to join our team at Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. As a key member of our support staff, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out cleaning and other related duties within departments, public, and staff areas, as well as residential accommodation.
- Participate in a 4-6 week induction period with on-the-job training, covering operational cleaning procedures, health and safety, and COSHH.
- Work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve common goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills.
- Ability to work as a member of a team and demonstrate care, compassion, competence, and good communication skills.
- Physically fit, with the ability to lift, bend, stretch, and stand for long periods of time.
- Receptive to supervision and willing to learn and adapt to new procedures and protocols.
- Previous experience working in a cleaning or support services role.
- Experience working as part of a team and contributing to a collaborative work environment.
