About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Technician Apprentice to join our Operations Team in Cheltenham. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to the Technical Team and Broking Divisions, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Document Creation: Gather information from files and complete standard document templates for internal and external distribution.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter, amend, update, and submit data onto relevant systems at a competent level.
  • Management Information: Create and manage electronic and paper files, ensuring prompt attention to urgent matters.
  • Treaty Accounts Processing
  • Documentation Checking
  • Claims
  • Premium Processing
Requirements
  • GCSEs in English and Maths at Grade 5 or above (or equivalent).
  • Commitment to studying and achieving the Cert CII (usually via the level 3 apprenticeship route) within an 18-24 month period.
  • Ability to analyze and identify key information.
  • Problem-solving skills using knowledge of policies and procedures.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Able to work under guidance rather than close supervision.
