Job Overview

Orion Electrotech is seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and mechanical maintenance, with experience working with automation and PLCs. You will be expected to resolve breakdowns, reduce downtime, and improve plant reliability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical and mechanical equipment
  • Identify and resolve equipment breakdowns in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with the internal team to solve problems and improve processes
  • Work in a cold environment (all required PPE will be provided) and at heights
  • Drive and travel to site as required
Requirements
  • Electrically qualified NVQ Level 3 or equivalent with mechanical experience
  • Experience of working with automation and PLCs
  • Great interpersonal skills and ability to work within a team
  • Willingness to learn and improve your skillset
  • Ability to work at height and in a cold environment
  • Happy to work a continental shift pattern of 2 days followed by 2 nights on a 4 on 4 off rotation
