Job Description

Job Title: Senior Modelling and Simulation Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Modelling and Simulation Systems Engineer to join our client, a world leader in the defence sector. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for performing activities including modelling, algorithm development, and systems studies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement modelling and simulation techniques to support defence systems engineering
  • Design and develop algorithms to support complex engineering problems
  • Conduct data analysis and technical report writing to support project deliverables

Requirements:

  • Qualified to degree level in a STEM subject
  • Experience in a similar role involving modelling and simulation
  • Interest in finding innovative solutions to complex engineering problems

Desirable Skills:

  • Proficiency in MATLAB and development of models in Simulink
  • Formal software or firmware development experience
  • Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing
  • Model verification, configuration control, and model release processes
  • Continuous Integration and Testing
  • Machine Learning and AI
