About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Group Accountant to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial support to our group companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, annual budgets, and forecasts to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide support for day-to-day banking matters across the group, ensuring seamless financial operations.
  • Assist with SAO compliance across all group companies, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Collate business information for tax computations, including the R&D claim, to optimize tax efficiency.
  • Prepare quarterly cash tax forecasting for payment on account purposes, ensuring timely and accurate tax payments.
  • Prepare the PAYE settlement agreement, P11Ds, and P46s, ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
  • Manage employee expense claim and company credit card processes, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Assist with the annual statutory audit and accounts process for group and family companies, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Assist with the group's short/medium-term cash flow forecasts, providing valuable insights for business decision-making.
Requirements
  • Fully qualified: ACA, ACCA, CIMA
  • Strong technical accounting skills, with a focus on financial analysis and reporting.
  • Strong IT skills, with intermediate-level Excel skills or above.
  • Excellent communication and administrative skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize workloads effectively, meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Ability to work independently, with flexibility to be part of a team.
