About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Game Designer to join our client's dynamic team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of the design department, you will work closely with the studio director and lead designer to create innovative game designs that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop engaging game mechanics and immersive game worlds.
  • Work closely with the studio director and lead designer to ensure clear communication among team members and alignment with project goals.
  • Develop and maintain clear documentation for production tracking and idea sharing.
  • Provide detailed bug reports and collaborate on new gameplay concepts.
  • Stay informed on competitive products across all platforms.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or Game Design with a programming focus preferred, or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communication, technical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Motivated, positive, and collaborative team player.
  • Adaptable with strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications

  • 3+ years of industry experience.
  • Credit on at least one published title.
  • Experience with Unreal Engine or similar.
  • Proficiency in coding or scripting.
