Job Summary
The Production Supervisor is a key role within the Premdor organization, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our production department. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of production processes, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of production staff to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
- Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and drive growth.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Provide input on budgeting and resource allocation to support business objectives.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a production or operations management role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (e.g. Lean, Six Sigma).
- Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations (e.g. OSHA, EPA).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience with budgeting and resource allocation.
