Job Title: Ecommerce Assistant Merchandiser

JD Group is seeking an experienced Ecommerce Assistant Merchandiser to join our Outdoors Multichannel Merchandising Team. As an Ecommerce Assistant Merchandiser, you will play a key role in ensuring product gets online in an accurate and timely fashion, while maintaining the look and feel of our websites to maximize conversion and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure new product is online as quickly and efficiently as possible, working directly with the Buying & Merchandising team to build out and manage New in Trackers.
  • Provide the content team with priority products to ensure the most relevant and revenue-driving parts of the range are set live across our outdoor sites.
  • Work with the Buying & Merchandising team to send over and record new season samples to the Photo Studio to ensure assets are created ahead of stock landing, reducing time to site.
  • Merchandise our sites using Aurora Commerce ranking blends and manual modification for key product categories and brands to ensure the most relevant seasonal product is being showcased.
  • Conduct site walks throughout the week to raise any potential issues, including broken links, incorrect product descriptions, product placement, imagery, and general housekeeping.
  • Assist the relevant category Junior Merchandiser in day-to-day tasks as required.
  • Set up current on-site promotions in the Aurora platform and use Monetate software to apply relevant overlays and badging.
  • Review and maintain product attribution, including multi-buys, colors, new season, and out-of-stock rules.
  • Ensure product reviews are regularly checked and set live to sites.
  • Deal with daily product queries from the customer experience team, escalating and managing any issues that can't be resolved.
  • Support line managers with basic system and task training for new Assistant Merchandisers.
  • Review top on-site searches and action merchandising rules to improve results and conversion.
  • Review and update size guides regularly.
Requirements:
  • Ecommerce, merchandising, and Excel experience.
  • Good analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
