As a Vehicle Body Repair Specialist, your primary role will involve restoring or repainting vehicles that have sustained damage from accidents. This includes fitting all necessary components and addressing all damages as outlined in the assessment, while also notifying the Bodyshop Estimator or Supervisor of any additional damages discovered.
Your duties will encompass:
- Executing precise and timely repairs in alignment with estimates and insurance company standards, thereby optimizing labor sales within the Bodyshop.
- Delivering work of the highest quality to reduce the need for rework and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identifying and reporting any additional damages not specified in the work instructions.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and promptly removing damaged components.
- Completing all necessary documentation to meet the standards set by the company.
- Ensuring compliance with systems and procedures as established by the Bodyshop Manager and company policies.
- Responding constructively to requests from the Bodyshop Manager or Supervisor and collaborating effectively as a member of the Bodyshop Team.
- Adhering to the relevant standards and requirements set forth by manufacturers and insurers.
- Observing all applicable Health & Safety regulations.
- Utilizing all materials efficiently to minimize waste and costs.
- Completing all tasks within the agreed timeframes.
