Position Overview:

Our client, Cammach Bryant, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Operative for a permanent role. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a high-quality warehouse service that ensures precise stock management, secure storage, and timely provision of materials and goods essential for operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide an efficient warehouse service to support accurate inventory control and safe storage.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments daily to fulfill operational requirements.
  • Ensure all incoming goods correspond with purchase orders and delivery documentation, conducting inspections to verify they are undamaged.
  • Maintain up-to-date and precise inventories, including client-owned, company-owned, rental items, and workshop components.
  • Utilize forklifts and overhead cranes safely to transport goods, with training provided as necessary.
  • Prepare and pack containers, pallets, and general load-outs effectively.
  • Keep all material documentation and records current within the company database and ERP system.
  • Ensure all lifting certifications for containers and shipments are valid.
  • Complete necessary paperwork for customers, ensuring copies are placed in the appropriate containers or with goods.
  • Update various registers, including container movements and rentals.
  • Work closely with internal teams to facilitate effective warehouse operations, stock management, and accurate invoicing.
  • Prepare documentation for hazardous materials shipments as required, with training available.
  • Participate in the on-call service rota as needed.
  • Coordinate with the QHSE department to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in picking and preparing jobs for the workshop.
  • Engage in internal and external audits and stock takes as required.
  • Contribute proactively to the 5S and tagging initiatives.
  • Communicate with both internal and external customers to manage material movements efficiently.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Proficient in all aspects of warehouse and logistics operations.
  • Strong communication and writing abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Solid understanding of IT systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tools and spare parts necessary for offshore and onshore operations.
  • Thorough understanding of regulatory certifications for offshore and onshore work.
  • Good grasp of logistics and equipment handling.
  • Willingness to adapt to client needs and operational policies.
  • Possession of a valid driving license and forklift certification.
  • A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
  • Self-motivated and capable of performing under pressure.
