We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a Multi-Skilled Electrical Engineer to join a prominent player in the food processing sector located in Northampton. This position offers a competitive salary of £47,000 per year, complemented by a variety of additional benefits.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out electrical maintenance and repairs on diverse food processing machinery including Depalletisers/Palletisers, fillers, labellers, cappers, sealers, and vertical form fill seal machines.
  • Executing electrical fault diagnosis and troubleshooting to reduce operational downtime.
  • Proficiency with PLC systems, specifically AB & Siemens.
  • Complying with health and safety regulations and company protocols consistently.

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a comparable role within the food processing industry is highly preferred.
  • Strong electrical engineering capabilities and adeptness in fault diagnosis.
  • Familiarity with PLC systems, particularly AB & Siemens.
  • Knowledge of equipment such as Depalletisers/Palletisers, fillers, labellers, cappers, sealers, and vertical form fill seal machines is advantageous.
