Job Title: Tax Semi Senior

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Tax Semi Senior to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Tax Semi Senior, you will play a key role in supporting our clients with their tax needs, providing expert advice and guidance to ensure compliance with tax regulations.

About the Role:
  • Support a varied portfolio of tax clients, championing service excellence and building strong relationships with clients.
  • Proactively handle tax queries, providing clear and concise advice to clients.
  • Work closely with management to prepare and submit tax returns, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Support the preparation of tax advice for client reports, utilizing technical research to inform recommendations.
  • Assist with updating internal CRMS and client portals, ensuring seamless communication with clients.
  • Stay up-to-date with technical research to support complex tax issues, providing expert guidance to clients.
  • Champion your own professional development, seeking opportunities for growth and learning within the firm.
  • Support the wider team with ad hoc duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.

Requirements:
  • ATT qualification is desired but not essential - study support can be considered for the right candidate
  • 5 GCSEs including Maths and English
  • A minimum of two years' tax experience, preferably gained in practice
  • Technically minded with an aptitude for research and analysis
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and a self-motivated team player
  • Ambitious and career-driven, with a desire to progress within the firm
