About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our Farming team as a Graduate Farming Consultant. As a key member of our team, you will assist in a wide range of farming matters, gaining knowledge and experience to develop a career in Farm Management Consultancy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the farming team with farm management activities, including contract farming agreements, farm business issues, financial monitoring, and technical advice.
- Develop and maintain a set of client contacts, driving business development and providing commercial business advice.
- Advising on compliance with current and upcoming government legislation and guidance, and providing advice and completing grant and subsidy applications.
- Assist with preparing internal and external reports, maintaining and developing relevant personal and technical skills.
- Attend relevant conferences, seminars, and training sessions to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
Person Specification:
We are looking for a great communicator, team player, and commercially astute individual with good numeracy skills. The successful candidate will be ambitious, energetic, self-motivated, curious, and happy to network with a business development orientated attitude.
Requirements:
- University Degree
- Excellent research and analytical skills
- Excellent IT skills, including use of MS Office
- Practical Rural experience would be beneficial
