About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Insurance Broker to join our Music & Live Events Team at Lawes Insurance Recruitment. As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for servicing the insurance needs of our existing customers, providing quality customer care, and ensuring that documents are obtained and dispatched promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Service the insurance needs of existing customers within the Music & Live Events Team.
  • Provide quality customer care, ensuring that documents are obtained and dispatched promptly.
  • Support management and colleagues throughout the company in their endeavors to achieve and surpass targets.
  • Answer telephone calls promptly and effectively deal with all enquiries in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Telephoning/e-mailing clients, insurers, third parties, and other associated persons or businesses to resolve insurance issues on behalf of clients.
  • Generate system correspondence to clients, insurers, and third parties to complete transactions in accordance with client, insurer, and company requirements.
  • Process, check, and dispatch policy documentation to clients.
  • Update computer records following changes or amendments to risk details.
  • Re-broke risks obtaining alternative quotations at least 14 days prior to renewal date.
  • Ensure cover is maintained or extended as appropriate by issuing cover-notes and taking action prior to policy expiry or as required.
  • Create new policy computer records for any new risks allocated.
About You:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Broker who can use their own initiative, work as a team player, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a practical working knowledge of current FCA regulations, experience of adhering to and maintaining systems and procedures, and a high personal drive and resilience.

Requirements:

  • 1+ years commercial insurance experience.
  • English, Maths, and/or working towards CII qualifications is desirable.
