Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Competitive hourly rate of £78 per hour, depending on experience.

Shift Patterns: Following induction, a 4 on and 4 off rotating shift pattern, with days and nights (7am-7pm and 7pm-7am respectively).

Requirements include:

  • Time-served to NVQ level 3 (or equivalent)
  • HNC (or equivalent) or higher in an Engineering discipline (an advantage)
  • Post-apprenticeship experience in a high-speed, high-volume manufacturing environment (plastic packaging environment an advantage)
  • A proven practitioner of preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, problem-solving, and continuous improvement skills
  • Proven ability in diagnostic fault finding under pressure of production
  • Responsibility for maintenance across the entire building

Key skills include:

  • 70% mechanical and 30% electrical
  • Use of computerized maintenance management systems (not essential)

Paid weekly (monthly option available if preferred), based on a standard working week from Sunday to Saturday.
