Logistics Coordinator - Full Time - Attractive Salary + Excellent Benefits

Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 0830 – 1700 hours

Overview of the Position.

The Logistics Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations of the Depot by effectively assigning vehicles to ensure top-tier service delivery.

This position will also uphold all Health and Safety regulations while ensuring compliance with environmental standards and O Licence requirements.

In addition to transport responsibilities, the role will involve hands-on activities that promote Employee Engagement, continuous improvement initiatives, and focus on productivity and service quality.

A well-organized individual with a friendly demeanor is essential, and prior experience in administration and call handling is preferred.

The ideal candidate will collaborate as part of a team, managing a diverse range of daily tasks, including:

Handling calls - communicating with customers and/or our internal call centers and drivers. Conducting daily briefings with drivers – assisting in confirming assignments and addressing any discrepancies. Coordinating with the customer service department and/or directly with clients to resolve issues, including any hazards reported by drivers. Processing orders and confirmations, along with generating and reviewing daily reports. Performing administrative duties and maintaining organization.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

Strong familiarity with the local area. Outstanding communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly in writing, one-on-one, and over the phone with all levels of personnel, including management, team members, and clients. Capability to plan, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively. Experience working under strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. A willingness to adapt and enhance skill sets and knowledge as required by the role/business. Proficient in computer usage – comfortable with business software and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
