AI Systems Engineer (Remote Hybrid)

A pioneering AI/ML firm is launching an ambitious initiative focused on cutting-edge advancements in large language model technologies. They are in search of an AI Systems Engineer to enhance their team, presenting a remarkable chance to join a forward-thinking organization at a pivotal moment in its development.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and evaluate machine learning experiments
  • Develop scalable data processing pipelines while establishing data labeling methodologies
  • Conduct experiments to assess the efficacy of various preference learning strategies
  • Troubleshoot machine learning systems and diverse codebases

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in model training and deployment, particularly with large language models
  • Knowledgeable in techniques for training and fine-tuning large language models
  • Experience in debugging machine learning systems
  • Proficient in PyTorch or a similar framework
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Prior experience in a startup environment is advantageous
  • Must be a UK citizen with no visa or sponsorship requirements

This position will operate on a hybrid basis, requiring occasional travel to the office as necessary.
