Warehouse Operative and Counterbalance Specialist

A leading logistics and supply chain solutions provider, Quest Employment, is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative and Counterbalance Specialist at our Luton facility.

You will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of goods and a smooth flow of products through our facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Operate counterbalance equipment to efficiently move goods and materials within the warehouse.
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.
  • Conduct regular stock checks and maintain inventory accuracy, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand scanners, to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily targets and goals, promoting a culture of teamwork and communication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines and company standards.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is advantageous, but not essential.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual handling tasks, with a commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
