This is an exciting opportunity to work with a reputable facilities management company as an Electrical Engineer in a static role based in North London.

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer with expertise in mechanical systems to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building services systems, performing scheduled maintenance, inspections, and tests on electrical systems, and diagnosing faults and troubleshooting issues with building services equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and contractors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to deliver high-quality services and maintain strong working relationships.
  • Document all work performed, including maintenance records, reports, and recommendations for improvements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to building services engineering.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Electrical Engineer with expertise in mechanical systems.
  • Ability to diagnose and repair faults in building services equipment effectively.
  • Familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations and industry best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, colleagues, and contractors.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Relevant qualifications and certifications in building services engineering (electrical) are preferred.
