Position Overview

This is a full-time, on-site opportunity for a Precision Brake Press Technician at Greenfold Systems Ltd. The technician will oversee machine operations, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and pre-press activities on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Precision Brake Press Technician include:

  • Operating the press brake to fabricate components from metal sheets.
  • Preparing, configuring, and fine-tuning the press brake in accordance with product specifications and production timelines.
  • Conducting inspections to ensure products meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Communicating with tool makers regarding any defective tooling, jigs, or fixtures.
  • Reporting to the Works Manager about any issues that may hinder the achievement of production goals.

  • Physically capable of lifting materials.
  • Aspiring to become a fully trained Machine Operator.

Essential Skills:

  • Prior experience in production manufacturing and familiarity with the production process.
  • Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings.
  • Experience in operating press brake controls.
  • Proficient in using hand tools.
  • Previous experience in a strong safety culture.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and reliability.
  • Experience in fabrication is advantageous for the Precision Brake Press Technician role.

Working Hours:

Standard working hours are Monday to Thursday from 07:45 to 16:30 and Friday from 07:45 to 13:00, with options for overtime available. Compensation will be based on experience, and inquiries can be made upon application.
