Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Shift Engineer to join our team at a rapidly growing Building Service Provider in London. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a new contract, offering career growth, valuable experience, additional training, and exposure to a flagship project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical equipment
  • Liaise with subcontractors and ensure statutory compliance
  • Carry out isolation of plants and systems in accordance with safety requirements
  • Ensure corrective/repair works are carried out in accordance with regulations
  • Endorse safe working practices, quality standards conformity, and best practice methods
  • Organise subcontractors and complete logbooks and RAMS
  • Report on maintenance activities and raise and close jobs on PDA's as necessary

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City and Guilds / NVQ or equivalent)
  • At least 3 years experience in commercial maintenance
  • Polite and personable with a client-facing attitude
  • Apprentice-trained (desirable)
