Oral Health Educator

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Qualified Dental Nurse to take on a challenging role as an Oral Health Educator in our 4-surgery practice in Beverley. The successful candidate will have undertaken the Oral Health Post Qualification and have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver evidence-based prevention and improve access to dental care
  • Work collaboratively with clinicians and the practice team to ensure patients receive excellent care in line with Flexible Commissioning guidelines and {my}dentist values
  • Manage a diary of patients, meetings, and other activities such as visiting local schools to educate children on oral health
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Local Authorities and Community Dental Services
