Registered Veterinary Nurse

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week on average.

Shifts: Run between 7.30pm Monday to Friday, with weekend duties once every 6 weeks.

Salary: From £31,500 depending on experience

About North Downs Specialist Referrals:

We are an internationally acknowledged referral centre of excellence for specialist veterinary care. Our RCVS accredited practice offers access to one of the largest groups of veterinary specialists within the UK and Europe. We are continuously aiming to provide the highest standards of medical and surgical care for our patients within a caring and compassionate environment.

Our Team:

We have a team of over 60 Registered Veterinary Nurses (RVN) and 31 recognised specialists in surgery, internal medicine, ophthalmology, oncology, neurology, cardiology, dentistry, diagnostic imaging and anaesthesia.

About the Role:

We require a full-time RVN to join our day nursing team. Shifts run between 7.30pm Monday to Friday, with weekend duties once every 6 weeks on a 40 hour/week basis. We have a team of night nurses, so there will be no regular night shifts. Referral experience is not essential as full training is given within a comprehensive induction programme.
