In this position, you will ensure adherence to financial protocols, act as a key liaison for acquisitions and financial evaluations, and tackle various financial challenges. Key Responsibilities:

Monthly Financial Reporting: Generate detailed profit and loss statements, post necessary journals, and create overhead reports. Invoice Processing: Accurately review and categorize invoices. Performance Evaluation: Assess the performance of both new and existing titles, providing reports across various categories. Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop budgets and forecasts, validate title-specific expenses, and compile KPI reports for dissemination. Acquisition Evaluation: Perform profit and loss evaluations on acquisitions, determining suitable bonus structures. Marketing Collaboration: Partner with the marketing team to analyze and adjust marketing expenditures. Comprehensive Analysis: Deliver in-depth analysis on authors, titles, and market trends to aid decision-making. Internal Collaboration: Coordinate with internal teams such as Group Finance, Royalties Rights, Contracts, Sales, and Editorial. Financial Communication: Simplify complex financial data for non-financial stakeholders.

What you will bring to the role:

Progress towards or possession of a professional accounting qualification. Strong interpersonal skills. Exceptional attention to detail. Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Highly organized with the capability to work autonomously and collaboratively. Experience with Power BI is advantageous.

Minimum criteria

Proficient in Excel. At least one year of experience in a comparable financial role.
