The successful candidate will oversee a team of engineers and be responsible for delivering projects to high quality standards. Key responsibilities include planning and managing mechanical engineering activities, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
  2. Plan and manage mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
  3. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align project expectations and outcomes.
  4. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
  5. Review technical specifications and develop engineering solutions.
  6. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
  7. Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
  8. Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
  9. Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
  10. Review and approve project documentation.
  11. Lead technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
  12. Work with the project management team to identify and manage risks.
Requirements:
  1. Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in a project lifecycle environment.
  3. CEng status.
  4. Excellent communication and IT skills.
  5. Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and adapt to new challenges.
  6. Due to security restrictions, this role is only open to UK nationals who can obtain security clearance.
