Key responsibilities include planning and managing mechanical engineering activities, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects on time and to a high standard.
- Plan and manage mechanical engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to align project expectations and outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Review technical specifications and develop engineering solutions.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure quality and compliance.
- Prepare project documentation, reports, and progress updates.
- Review and approve project documentation.
- Lead technical reviews with internal and external stakeholders.
- Work with the project management team to identify and manage risks.
- Master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in a project lifecycle environment.
- CEng status.
- Excellent communication and IT skills.
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and adapt to new challenges.
- Due to security restrictions, this role is only open to UK nationals who can obtain security clearance.
