About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Chef to join our team at Restaurant Associates in Newcastle Upon Tyne. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of quality and ensuring the smooth operation of our food service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of food and beverages
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food handling standards
  • Lead and motivate a team of chefs and kitchen staff to achieve excellent results
  • Develop and implement menus and recipes to meet customer demands and preferences
  • Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a similar environment
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to motivate and develop a team of chefs and kitchen staff
