Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Team Leader to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on role, where you will play a crucial part in the development and operation of our busy warehouse centre.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of staff, including machine operators, drivers and warehouse personnel, to ensure maximum productivity, efficient workflow, and adherence to quality standards.
- Driver Management: Coach and motivate our fleet of drivers to adhere to company policy procedures, Health and Safety guidelines and security processes.
- Conduct regular stock control checks and ensure inventory accuracy.
- Optimize the utilization of resources, space, and mechanical handling equipment.
- Maintain high standards of quality control.
- Perform key holder responsibilities, including securing the facility.
- Uphold strong housekeeping standards.
- Flexible to suit the demands of the business.
Requirements:
- Forklift Proficiency: Proficiency in operating both counterbalance and reach forklift trucks.
- Driving Licence: A clean, full driving license is desirable.
