Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role provides an excellent opportunity to engage in a variety of impactful projects that contribute to essential national infrastructure.

Location: Coventry, United Kingdom

  • Technical Responsibilities: Validate and test SCADA and telemetry systems for significant infrastructure initiatives.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Collaborating with the Software Engineering team to comprehend software specifications and design corresponding test cases.
  • Creating and executing detailed test plans and cases to ensure the functionality, performance, and usability of our solutions.
  • Utilizing our internal test management system to develop and maintain test documentation, including plans, cases, and reports.
  • Identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects using our issue tracking tool, working closely with developers for timely resolutions.
  • Designing and implementing automated test cases as part of our DevOps CI/CD pipeline.
Candidate Profile:
  • A degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • ISTQB certification or similar is preferred.
  • Experience in software testing, including the preparation of test cases and scripts.
  • Familiarity with test management tools, such as Jira.
  • Experience in automated testing is advantageous but not mandatory.
