About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Manager to lead our design team in producing detailed designs for all workstreams. The ideal candidate will have experience in a design role within an electricity distribution network operator or a similar industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design team to produce detailed designs for all workstreams.
  • Develop and lead a team of multi-skilled engineering professionals.
  • Work on electrical designs up to 132 kV across all workstream areas.
  • Improve support for the Operations team, ensuring that all relevant contractual obligations are met.
  • Build and develop a skilled operations-based design team, improve competencies for Principal Designer roles under CDM regulations, and maintain high-quality standards and training.
Requirements
  • Experience in a design role within an electricity distribution network operator or a similar industry.
  • HNC or degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Design experience up to 132kv.
