Role Overview:

As a Project Planner, you will play a pivotal role within a collaborative framework, working alongside partner companies and their supply chains to deliver significant capital investment programs.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the project plan, ensuring that the project team adheres to timelines and addresses any potential delays or deviations.

In this leadership position, you will mentor and guide junior planners, sharing your expertise to enhance their skills and promote high performance within the team.


Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans in alignment with alliance requirements, ensuring adherence to established methodologies.

- Ensure that project plans encompass the entire project scope, with resources appropriately allocated.

- Identify and monitor opportunities and risks within the project plan, advising the delivery team on necessary adjustments.

- Create 4D animations of project plans to facilitate digital simulations of construction processes.

- Design and implement effective communication strategies to ensure all stakeholders are informed and engaged with the project approach.

- Uphold planning standards across the alliance and ensure compliance with published processes.

- Maintain a strong focus on Health & Safety standards throughout all planning activities.

Experience Required:

- Proven experience in civil engineering or construction projects, particularly within the water sector.

- Proficiency in P6 software.

- Experience leading collaborative planning efforts, with the ability to interpret technical drawings for efficient project planning.

- Strong communication skills to convey complex information to diverse audiences, especially under tight deadlines.

- Adaptability to meet project goals, demonstrating innovation and support for team members.
