Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated General Practitioner to provide high-quality patient care in our busy practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing routine appointments, home visits, and telephone consultations, as well as undertaking administrative tasks and participating in multidisciplinary team meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide routine appointments during surgery times and as per your timetable
- Be available to take telephone calls from patients
- Provide home visits when required
- Undertake all relevant administrative work arising from patient contacts, including dealing with results, queries, and making referrals within 72 hours
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of clinical and administrative policies
- Provide cover for colleagues' holiday, study leave, and occasional absences within your timetable
Person Specification
- Full registration with the General Medical Council
- Experience of working within Primary Care
- Ability to work as part of a diverse team with excellent communication skills
