Position Overview

This full-time role, based at our Service Centre, involves working in shifts of 8 hours between 8:30 AM and 5:30 PM on most days, with additional support during peak periods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support to ICAEW students and prospective candidates from initial inquiry through to membership.
  • Handle a high volume of incoming calls and multi-channel inquiries (phone, email, webchat) ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Deliver personalized and professional responses, aiming for outstanding satisfaction ratings.
  • Initiate outbound calls to follow up on outstanding issues or documentation.
  • Adapt to fluctuating workloads, particularly during busy periods, while maintaining high service standards.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance student communications and overall satisfaction.

Candidate Profile

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven customer service experience with a strong ability to engage with clients over the phone.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, reflecting the professional image of ICAEW.
  • Experience in managing inquiries across various channels, including phone and email.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain quality in a fast-paced environment.
  • Competent IT skills, capable of multitasking effectively.
