Job Summary

Ideal Personnel and Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join their busy private client team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to solicitors and fee-earners, ensuring the smooth operation of the team.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Typing correspondence to clients, other law firms, and accountants
  2. Preparing and completing legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney
  3. Managing the solicitors' and fee-earners' diaries, making appointments, and organizing meetings
  4. Answering phone calls, taking messages, and handling queries
  5. Handling incoming and outgoing mail
  6. Setting up new files, closing, and archiving files, and sending them for storage
  7. Managing accounts, typing client bills, completing timesheets, and organizing payments and expenses
  8. Performing other administrative tasks, including photocopying and filing

Requirements

Excellent typing skills

Preferred experience working in a legal environment

Excellent communication and client-facing skills
