**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Communicate effectively with the supply chain and team members regarding new and current projects.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and purchase orders for all products.
  • Ensure timely completion of estimates and maintain a high level of accuracy.
  • Understand the scope of work to bid and manage bid pricing from all suppliers.
  • Prepare cost analysis reports and establish working relationships with subcontractors.
  • Submit tenders in a timely manner and present tender adjudications to seniors.

**Requirements:**

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating.
  • A relevant degree in a field such as construction management or a related field.
  • Ability to read architectural plans and develop cost estimates.
  • Strong understanding of residential construction processes and refurbishment.
  • Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to multitask and meet strict deadlines.
  • Impeccable problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in reviewing and evaluating cost estimates.
  • Advantageous to have experience working in the social housing sector.
