Overview of the Role

We are collaborating with a reputable client, recognized as a leader in the IT sector within the UK. This role involves supporting a prominent brand in the entertainment field as an Assistant Asset and Stock Controller on a temporary basis.


Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the receipt and distribution of assets and inventory on a daily basis, assisting the Asset/Stock Controller.
  • Facilitate the physical transfer of devices between various storage areas and the client.
  • Provide assistance to schedulers and engineers in selecting and packaging inventory for incidents and requests.
  • Prepare devices by cleaning and wiping them before they are handed over to engineers for quality checks.
  • Support the broader team in delivering devices to clients.
  • Assist with tech bar operations, including the delivery and collection of user equipment.
  • Ensure that stock usage forecasts are maintained and that replenishment requests are made as necessary.
  • Maintain an organized stockroom using ServiceNow, conducting regular audits to ensure proper rotation and accuracy.
  • Ensure that tech vending machines are operational and fully stocked, if required.
  • Image laptops and desktop computers as needed.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in a professional setting.
  • Proactive approach with an understanding of time-sensitive tasks.
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM is a plus.
