As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing, controlling, and executing business and organisational processes to ensure efficient operational functioning.
As part of the senior management team, you will implement key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve productivity, safety, quality, service, and financial goals. You will communicate these goals clearly to supervisors, team leaders, and operatives, making important decisions in high-pressure situations. Through effective management and support services, you will balance meeting customer needs with optimising operational effectiveness.
The role will be responsible for site operations and will drive lean and process improvement initiatives. You will act as the main point of contact for day-to-day issues, striving for continual improvements in machine productivity and efficiency. You will reduce waste, ensure product quality, and exceed customer service levels.
With knowledge and experience within the corrugated cases industry, you will confidently lead and drive continued significant change and growth. Knowledge of foam plastics would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth functioning of the production plant
- Implement KPIs to achieve productivity, safety, quality, service, and financial goals
